When you ask visitors to our town what they find remarkable about Burns Lake, they inevitably mention two things. The first thing that they rave about is the people. We are a welcoming community that will make you feel at home in no time at all. Your neighbours and coworkers genuinely care, and you’ll never be short of help if you need it. The second thing that people find striking is the lifestyle. With an average commute of under five minutes, open skies, a quiet atmosphere and a laid back environment, you’ll feel that big city burden melt away in moments.

The Village of Burns Lake is centrally located between Prince George and Prince Rupert. We are the economic hub of the Lakes District and our community services about 8,000 residents in the surrounding area.
