Policies and Bylaws

Copies of the bylaws are available at the Village Office between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday to Friday. If you have any questions, please contact the Village Office.

Bylaws are municipal legislation used to protect the welfare, safety, and health of the residents of the Village of Burns Lake, as well as to promote community standards. General bylaw enforcement issues are processed through the Director of Protective Services. Please contact the Director if you have an issue.

A Policy Manual provides direction to staff and Council on a variety of issues and helps maintain consistency and fairness in municipal operations. For a complete copy of the Policy Manual please contact the Village Office.
